Closing Plenary
Part 1: The Development and Expansion of Regional Pro Bono Roundtables-Bringing Us into the Next Decade of Collaboration
Part 1 of this Final Plenary Session will focus on the development and expansion of regionally quarterly organized Pro Bono Roundtables and how they have assisted in strengthening regional and global pro bono and access to justice collaboration. These regional Roundtables have grown, in large part, out of the annual Asia Pro Bono Conference & Access to Justice Exchange, and have been guided by a regional/global consortium of organizations who are core supporters of the APBC &A2JX. The session will provide to learn more about the mechanisms of these convenings, and offer opportunities for additional organizations and institutions to assist and guide the organizing of these impactful events as we enter into the next decade.
Part 2: Closing Plenary-Moving Forward Together
Part 2 of this Final Plenary Session will focus on the completion of the 10APBVC & A2JX, gratitude being given to the many who have been involved this year and years past, and the ceremonious “passing of the pro bono flag” to the Lao PDR, where the 11 APBC &A2JX is scheduled to be held in 2022.
