Community empowerment through mutual learning and interactive engagement are key values embodied in Street Law’s methods and practices. This session will engage participants as “students” in a 15-minute online justice education workshop followed by a close examination of the sessions’ methodologies. We will explore ways in which communities, legal service providers and justice educators can keep mutual learning and interactive engagement as key elements in their online and face-to-face community legal education workshops and training. We will specifically consider challenges faced in university and Pro Bono law firm programmes.
