Our focal point will be the term “climate apartheid.” Professor Philip Alston, the UN special rapporteur on extreme poverty and human rights, first used the term in his report to the UN human rights council (HRC) on Jun 25, 2019.

The panelists will talk about: Climate apartheid, the Corona pandemic, and its economic consequences increased the risk of climatic apartheid, Their observations on “climate apartheid” in their own country, suggestions to the legal community and civil society activists to play a more active role in curbing this crisis,

We will also raise these issues:
What is the importance of public awareness of climate apartheid and legal solutions to combat it?
What are your suggested strategies for raising public awareness?
What capacities does cyberspace have to curb environmental injustices and combat climate apartheid?
What mistakes and dangers should be avoided in this way?
