Bio: Purificacion Bartolome-Bernabe graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law. She is a private practitioner and a law professor. She was the past president of their local bar association which was awarded as the Most Outstanding Chapter by the national bar association or the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, during her term. She is the organizer and president of the International Pro Bono Alliance (iPBA) which has brought her on missions to Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Hong Kong/Macau, Europe. It focuses on migrant workers and networks with other pro bono organizations and government agencies in order to serve this vulnerable sector. The iPBA was created after its founding members attended the BABSEA-CLE Conference in Singapore in 2014.
