Bio: Dr Nadzriah Ahmad is the Chairperson of the Child Law Centre in Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. The presenter has engaged in many consultation sessions with the stakeholders, particularly the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development in areas concerning protection of children. One of the areas of consultation that the presenter was engaged focused on improving the legal framework concerning children in conflict with the law in the Child Act (Amendment) 2016. Her area of interest and specialisation is in the field of juvenile justice system in Malaysia and is a strong proponent of adopting diversion as an alternative to the formal justice system in order to afford better protection and well being of the children.
