Celebrating a Decade of Collaboratively Strengthening Justice & Rule of Law

As a means to ensure real justice impact, it is vital to look back to where you started, see where you currently are, and identify where you want to go. It is also equally vital to see who you have done this with along the way. The goal of this opening plenary is to do just that, as it will celebrate a decade of collaborative access to justice and Rule of Law strengthening, through the impact of the Asia Pro Bono Conference & Access to Justice Exchange (APBC &A2JX), and provide guidance to a path forward. Participants will have an opportunity to share and learn from others who have been on this journey together, many from the inaugural event in Laos, a decade ago. The plenary session will also welcome new Participants into this ever expanding and impactful regional and global Pro Bono/Access to Justice Movement.

Participants attending, who have been a part of APBC & A2JX , should come with specific reflections from those convenings, and take-aways from those events, that have assisted them in the justice related work they are involved in to date. For Participants who are attending the APBC &A2JX for the first time, they should come eager and willing to take in the experiences from past APBC &A2JX Participants, and join with them, and others, in the journey and Movement ahead.
