Bio: Associate Professor Tran Van Nam has been lecturing at the National Economics University (NEU) Hanoi, Vietnam since 1989 and is currently Dean, NEU Faculty of Law. Tran Van Nam graduated from Hanoi Law University, earned a MBA from Boise States University, (USA), got a LL.M in IP from University of Turin (Italy) and obtained his Ph.D from Hanoi National Economics University. Nam has participated in the one – year Common Law Program, run by the International Center for Common Law Studies in French, University of Moncton, Canada. He was Fulbright visiting lecturer at the University of Washington School of Law for the 2002-2003 school year and became a member of Pacific Northwest Academy on Legal Study in Business (PNALSB). Since 2002, Tran Van Nam participated in the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) as an international arbitrator, practicing trade law and intellectual property law.
