Sadhana Rai
Chief Representation Officer, Pro Bono SG
Sadhana serves as Chief Representation Officer at Pro Bono SG, overseeing the organization’s legal practice and Community Legal Services. She leads litigation specialists and community lawyers while maintaining her own practicing certificate to represent clients in court.
Her responsibilities include ensuring excellence in service delivery, setting practice standards, monitoring performance, and developing strategic initiatives alongside the CEO. She ensures deserving applicants receive fair and timely legal assistance.
Before Pro Bono SG, Sadhana practiced commercial litigation at Drew & Napier LLC under Davinder Singh, SC. She joined the inaugural CLAS Fellows in 2015 and became one of the first CLAS Advocates in 2017, where she mentored new Fellows.
Her professional excellence has earned notable recognition, including selection for the National Council of Social Service’s 40-Under-40 program in 2022 and the Joseph Grimberg Outstanding Young Advocate Award in 2023.
Beyond her primary role, Sadhana contributes to The Law Society of Singapore’s Advocacy Committee, helping develop advocacy skills for Bar members. She also serves on the Management Committee of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, reflecting her commitment to environmental and animal welfare causes.
