Hung Hsieh is the Managing Partner of Pontis Law, a full-service law firm based in Taipei, Taiwan. His legal practice focuses on intellectual property, arbitration, and mediation, particularly in cross-border disputes and regulatory counseling. He has served as an arbitrator and mediation trainer at the Chinese Arbitration Association, Taipei (CAA) for over a decade, contributing to the advancement of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) in Taiwan and the region.
Mr. Hsieh currently chairs the International Affairs Committee of the Taiwan Bar Association (TWBA), where he leads the TWBA’s engagement with foreign bar associations and legal institutions. His work emphasizes strengthening international cooperation, developing bilingual legal resources, and promoting the global visibility of Taiwan’s legal profession.
In addition to his work in ADR, Mr. Hsieh is active in advising on legal frameworks for emerging industries, including artificial intelligence, fintech, and energy transition, with a strong focus on IP strategy and interdisciplinary collaboration.
