Alan Lau

Alan is the Pro Bono and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager of the law firm Johnson Stokes & Master based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for coordinating the charitable legal services and volunteering initiatives of around 500 colleagues, including over 120 lawyers, across the firm’s Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai offices.

Alan obtained a double degree in politics and law from the University of Hong Kong. Upon his admission as a Hong Kong solicitor, he committed himself to the non-profit sector. Since then, he has gathered considerable experience in non-profit management, programme curation, pitching and proposals writing by being involved in the operation and growth of several NGOs in the field of youth leadership training, equal access to music education and community access to legal information etc.
