Lamngeun Khatsavang

Vice President, Lao Bar Association

My name is Lamngeun Khatsavang, Lao lawyer and vice president of the Lao Bar Association (LBA). I became a member of the Lao Bar Association in 2012. I am interested in Pro Bono and had participation in the strengthen Pro Bono report system of LBA and attended the 12^th Asia Pro Bono conference 2023 in Philippines. I had joined Pro Bono training of trainers for Lao lawyers was held on 27 to 28 July 2024. Then I joined Pro Bono training as a trainer for lawyers of Champasak and Savannakhet provinces bar association. Currently I am appointed to be a part of committee for preparing the 1^st national Pro Bono conference of Lao PDR, will be take place on 21 to 22 November 2024 in Vangvieng, Lao PDR. I will continue to contribute to and participate in any LBA Pro Bono activities and I hope Pro Bono could support and strengthen the role of lawyer and LBA for effective efforts of improving access to justice to realize SDG 16.
