Beyond Borders: Understanding Statelessness in an Asia-Pacific Context

This session explores the complex issue of statelessness in the Asia-Pacific region and highlights the vital role of pro bono legal support in helping stateless individuals and communities. Participants will learn about legal aid and litigation opportunities in the region, as well as initiatives led by affected individuals working to change the legal landscape. The session also examines how pro bono lawyers can support these efforts, strengthen movements, and expand access to justice.
