Ms. Samjhana Ghimire is an Advocate having an interest in the area of Human Rights. She completed her L.L.B from Kathmandu School of Law and is studying L.L.M. from Nepal Law Campus. She completed eight months of internship at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) in 2013. She participated in a nine-month coaching program on international human rights litigation for lawyers organized by Trial International and Human Rights and Justice Center (HRJC) in 2017. She also participated in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of U.S. Department of State under the theme of Foreign Policy and Human Rights in February 2019.

At present, Ms. Ghimire is a Project Coordinator at Legal Aid and Consultancy Center (LACC), an NGO which is a pioneer in the field of providing free legal aid and combating gender-based violence for promoting women and children’s access to justice. In her role at LACC, she leads and implements programs advocating for human rights.
