J. Daryl Byler

Director of Development & Communications, DC Bar Foundation

Daryl oversees the DC Bar Foundation’s private fundraising from law firms and individuals, through several campaigns and events, including the DC Walk for Justice 5K. He has over 25 years of development experience and began his career as a staff attorney with the East Mississippi Legal Services.

Daryl joined the DC Bar Foundation in May 2019 and serves as a member of the Foundation’s leadership team. He received his Bachelor of Science (business administration) and Master of Arts from Eastern Mennonite University, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law.

He resides in Washington, DC, and enjoys gardening, walking, reading, and spending time with his five grandchildren.
