Odgerel Purevdolgor

President of the Mongolian Bar Association

Odgerel Purevdolgor is a distinguished Mongolian legal scholar and practitioner with extensive experience in administrative and environmental law. He graduated from the School of Law, National University of Mongolia (LL.B, 1995; LL.M, 1997; Ph.D, 2007) and also earned an LL.M from the University of Bayreuth, Germany in 2000.

From 1995 to 2019, Dr. Odgerel taught at the School of Law, National University of Mongolia, advancing from lecturer to full professor, and serving as academic secretary. Since 2003, he has been a licensed attorney and a member of the Mongolian Bar Association. Beyond academia, he worked as senior lawyer at BR & Ing LLC (2012–2014) and later as director of Odgerel Partners Law Firm (2014–2022). Since 2022, he has served as President of the Mongolian Bar Association.

Dr. Odgerel has authored textbooks, handbooks, and scholarly works on administrative and tax law, as well as co-authoring a compendium on Mongolian environmental law. He has presented research at international conferences in Mongolia, Korea, Japan, and Germany, and has contributed to numerous national and international projects on governance, environmental protection, and human rights.

His career reflects a strong commitment to advancing the rule of law, legal education, and professional ethics in Mongolia.
