Jefferson R. Plantilla works at the Asia-Pacific Human Rights Information Center (HURIGHTS OSAKA). A lawyer by profession, he has worked with Structural Alternative Legal Assistance for the Grassroots (Philippines) providing legal assistance to grassroots communities and serving in an executive capacity. He does research and publication work on human rights and attends regional human rights workshops as resource person. He is currently a member of the Steering Committee of the International Association of Human Rights Education Associates (IAHRE) based in London.
