Erdenechimeg Dashdorj

Natural Resource Governance Manager, Open Society Forum Mongolia

Mrs. Erdenechimeg Dashdorj, a lawyer and the member of the Mongolian Lawyers’ Association. She is currently working with the Open Society Forum of Mongolia (OSF) as a manager of Economic Governance Program.

She obtained her bachelor of law degree in Mongolia in 2000 and LLM in 2003 at the Law School of the National University of Mongolia. She recently obtained in 2014 LLM (advanced) at the University of Queensland in Australia. Mrs. Erdenechimeg has been practicing law since 2004 when she became a member of the Association of Mongolian Advocates (AMA). She had been working for 2 years as a head of the Advocates Committee on Public Interest Litigation of the AMA in 2008-2009.

She has teaching experience of law in Mongolia in 2000-2005. She started practicing environmental law since 2005 when she started worked with the Centre for Human Rights and Development (CHRD), as a lawyer. In 2007-2008, she worked with the Asian Forum for Human Rights and Development (FORUM-ASIA), Bangkok based regional human rights organization. At the FORUM-ASIA, she obtained experience of international human rights advocacy engaging with international human rights institutions.
