Turmunkh Gongorjav
Executive Director, Khovdiin Toli NGO
Turmunkh Gongorjav is a Mongolian journalist and economist with a diverse background in both media and agriculture. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Social University in Khovd and a second bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Journalists University of Press Institute of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar.
His work experience spans over two decades, primarily as a journalist and editor. He has served as a local correspondent for the Niigmiin toli and Zuunii medee newspapers, as well as an editor for the Khovdiin toli newspaper. In addition, he was the head of the non-governmental organization Khovdiin toil. His experience also includes broad knowledge on public interest litigation cases such as Khalzan Burgetei project since 2021.
