Baasanjav Navagchamba

Lawyer, Judicial General Council of Mongolia

Mrs. Baasanjav Navagchamba has been a Member of the Judicial General Council of Mongolia since 18 December 2021 and she is now head of the Functional Committee on Judicial Openness and Transparency under the Judicial General Council of Mongolia

She is former Member of the Ethics committee of the Mongolian Bar Association (MBA) and Consultant member of Judicial Index of Mongolia and she served as a Board member (2019-2022) and Head of the Ethics committee (2017-2021) of the MBA.

Mrs. Baasanjav Navagchamba specializes in labor law and judiciary, digitization of court procedure. She began her career at National University of Mongolia as Lecturer in 2007. She worked as a Lawyer at the Khanbank between 2008 and 2013 and in 2011 she established her own law firm Baasanjav consulting LLC and worked as a Director until 2021.

She has conducted and led some research works including the Justice-Digitalization of Mongolia and the Force labor situation in Mongolia 2018 and 2021, a comparative study of the legal framework of the Law on NGO’s. She supported Lawyers Pro bono events as a member of Judicial General Council for last 4 years.

Mrs. Baasanjav Navagchamba holds an LL.M degree from the Faculty of International law, Ludwig Maximilians University,  Federal Republic of Germany.
