Latthida Kitiyavong (Nana)
Laos CLE Program Manager/Legal Trainer/ Junior Lawyer, BABSEACLE
Latthida (Nana) Kitiyavong is a licensed female lawyer in Laos and serves as the CLE Program Manager. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Law from the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the National University of Laos in 2018. Currently, she also works at The Legal House Laos Law firm on initiatives by BABSEACLE.
Nana has been actively engaged in legal education and community outreach since her university years. From 2016 to 2018, she volunteered in the Clinical Legal Education program in Laos, participating in various initiatives such as conducting law dissemination activities at the Somsanga Drug Rehabilitation and Treatment Centre, interviewing community members in Champasak Province for a baseline study on gender-based violence awareness, and leading the ‘Stop Gender-Based Violence’ campaign.
With experience in legal capacity building and advocacy, Nana has collaborated closely with the Lao Bar Association and the Lao government on various initiatives, including legal training programs and policy support efforts. Her work focuses on strengthening access to justice, legal education, and community empowerment in Laos.
She has served on secretariat of the regionally led Asia Pro Bono Conference and Access to Justice Exchange held in the virtual conference & exchange (2020 & 2021), Laos (2022), the Philippines (2023), Mongolia (2025) and this year’s event in Fukuoka Japan (2026).
