Pro Bono for ESG in Asia: How to Empower the Vulnerable

This session explores how pro bono legal support can advance ESG goals while protecting vulnerable communities. It shows how legal service providers can help refugees, migrant workers, and other at-risk groups gain access to justice, participate in the economy, and secure long-term stability.

Using practical examples, the session demonstrates how pro bono work can go beyond enforcing rights to empowering individuals, ensuring remedies are meaningful, and supporting sustainable solutions. Participants will gain insight into how collaboration across sectors and strategic pro bono engagement can strengthen social, environmental, and governance outcomes for those who need it most.
