Governance for Addressing Misconduct in Global Business—Risk Control and Disclosure Based on Anti-Corruption Education for Access to Justice
This session examines bribery and corruption risks in global business and their impact on access to justice. Failures in integrity can silence reporting, put whistleblowers at risk, and weaken pathways to remedy, particularly in overseas operations and third-party relationships.
Participants will explore a practical governance cycle, including anti-corruption training, risk collection and analysis, and prioritized response and accountability. The session highlights how pro bono legal expertise and cross-sector collaboration through initiatives like GCNJ Collective Action 2030 can strengthen reporting, compliance, and remediation frameworks. Attendees will also learn about the newly released guidance, Governance for Addressing Misconduct in Global Business: Risk Control and Disclosure Based on Anti-Corruption Education, and how these tools can support pro bono actors in promoting integrity and justice globally.
