Pro Bono and Corporate Client Collaborations: From Engagement to Impact

As corporate participation in pro bono continues to grow, so too does the need for thoughtful and effective collaboration models. This session will explore how law firms and NGOs can work with corporate partners in ways that are fit-for-purpose and aligned with pro bono client need.

Drawing on practical experience, the presenters will share examples of various initiatives involving in-house legal teams and examine best practices, common challenges and lessons learned.

The session will consider both process and delivery, including how to identify suitable opportunities, design roles that reflect the strengths of each partner and manage collaborations through each phase – from scoping to implementation to evaluation.

Participants will leave with practical strategies to engage corporate clients in ways that deliver meaningful outcomes for pro bono clients and communities.
