Strengthening a Pro Bono Culture: This stream includes sessions that discuss the motivations and reasons behind why, when, where, how we do pro bono, how we can gain further support for our work and develop the Pro Bono Movement nationally, throughout Asia, and Globally.
For five years the Asia Pro Bono Conference has been bring people together from all over the Asia region and globally to support, develop and help guide the Asia pro bono movement into the future. In the session best practices and lessons learnt about this journey will be shared and discussion of the next steps for the future of the Asia pro bono movement will be discussed.

This session explores many of the ways and means bar associations, and the collaborative synergies between international organizations and local/national bar associations, can and should use to support the development of ethical pro bono practices, among compulsory and voluntary bar associations.
This session will discuss the differences between voluntary pro bono and paid legal aid service providers and look at circumstances where they overlap and evaluate how both can be used as tools to increasing access to justice.
This session will discuss the importance of pro bono throughout the region and why persons in the legal profession dedicate their time and skills in providing pro bono services to their communities.
