Workshop 6: Case Management Best Practices

The two-part workshop on Case Management Best Practices will draw upon the diverse experiences of Conference participants to offer an informative session on why case management is essential to access to justice and how it can be improved through pro bono activities. Workshop facilitators will foster discussion on the purposes of case management and what kinds of tools must be used to reach those goals. Case management tools used in different legal settings will be provided as examples to stimulate discussion on how ca se management is different in the contexts of legal aid, corporate law firms, university in-house consultation clinics, public interest law firms and other settings. Discussion will also focus on how these different sectors can work together to strengthen case management for the improvement of access to justice.
