The conference hotel is closest to Exit A at Fortress Hill station. (港鐵炮台山站A出口). You then need to walk about 5 minutes. From Exit A, cross Kings Road and go down Oil Street. Turn left at the end of Oil Street and you should see the entrance to the hotel.
Taxis are cheap, and safe. But be aware that there are different taxis for different parts of Hong Kong (Island, Kowloon and New Territories). If you are returning to Kowloon side, Island taxis may not go there, and you will need to find a “cross-harbour taxi”. Though, generally, all Kowloon side taxis will go to Hong Kong island.

Stay up to date with the Hong Kong Observatory.
Important note – Typhoons, Disruptions and Other Contingency Arrangements
Hong Kong experiences periodic typhoons and heavy rainstorms during these months. In the unlikely situation that such an event occurs during the Conference, flights, transport connections and other infrastructure may be stopped or suspended for safety reasons. As a result, conference proceedings may have to be cancelled or postponed. You are advised to keep an eye on the Hong Kong Observatory website for notices about weather events, as well as the Convene App and the Conference’s social media account for announcements.
If there is a typhoon or heavy rainstorms, you are advised to stay indoors until it is safe to go outside. Announcements will also be made at the Conference, if and when, we hear of any likely disruptions.
Your safety is our first concern, so stay alert at all times and if you are in doubt, please contact your hotel reception staff or the Conference volunteers.
