Combatting Gender Based Violence through Pro Bono and Access to Justice

This session will provide a case study of a pro bono strategy that can be utilized to support survivors of gender based violence through a Pro Bono and Access to Justice partnership. The Pro Bono and A2J partners including the participating law graduates will describe law graduates can provide sustainable pro bono assistance to a community legal centre and their vulnerable clients including the successes and the challenges of this new initiative. The presentation will include feedback from clients, pro bono graduates and the Pro Bono partners.
